Terms of service

These terms cover the estimate, the work and the warranty. They are written to be read once, not to be argued about later.
Estimates
The on-site estimate is free and carries no obligation. The written price lists the surfaces, the prep, the number of coats, the product, the days on site and the total, and it stays valid for 30 days from the date on it.
Prices published on this site are starting rates for a straightforward house with normal access. The number on your written estimate is the one that applies to your job.
Changes to the scope
The written estimate is the price. The only thing that changes it is work nobody could see at the walkthrough — rot behind the siding is the usual one. When that happens, the work stops, you get a photo and a number in writing, and nothing continues until you say yes.
Scheduling and weather
No deposit is required to book a date. Exterior work depends on dry weather: we need the siding dry and a dry window after the last coat, so a booked date can move by a few days. We tell you as soon as we know, and we do not bill for a day lost to weather.
Access and the site
We need access to the areas being worked on, an outdoor tap for exterior work, and vehicles off the driveway on spray days. Please secure pets. We cover plants, windows and fixtures, clean up each evening, and walk the job with you at the end.
Payment
The balance is due when the final walkthrough is done. We accept Zelle, Cash, Check. The minimum job is $150.
Warranty
The written warranty runs from the day the job is finished:
- Exterior painting — 3 years
- Interior painting — 2 years
- Bathtub refinishing — 2 years
- Decks and fences — repair, replacement, staining — 1 year
- Window and door installation — 1 year on the installation
- Small repairs and installs — 90 days
It covers peeling, blistering, flaking and failed seams on work we prepared and applied, and it transfers with the house if you sell. It does not cover normal wear, fading, weather and impact damage, movement of the building, defects in materials you supplied, or work redone by somebody else after us. To make a claim, text or call the number below with the address and roughly when we painted it.
Cancelling
You can cancel a booked job at any time before we start, at no cost. If materials were already bought to your specification, we ask you to cover those at supplier price and we hand them over.
Photos
We photograph our work for our own records. Nothing appears on this site or anywhere else without your say-so.
